Our summer and winter log cabin holidays at the Northern Comfort Lodge have proven very popular since this experience was added to our portfolio in 2008. Sleeping up to 8 persons, the lodge is ideal for larger families or groups of friends, comes with 2 saunas (one internal, one external, both wood-fired) and a lakeside hot-tub “bathing barrel”.
A new cabin, “Lynx”, furnished to similar standard and sleeping up to 5 persons in 1 x 2-person room and 1 x 2-3 person room, has now been completed adjacent to the lodge and is the perfect choice for couples seeking a romantic log cabin break or smaller families. The cabin has its own wood-fired sauna and hot tub.
Activities at the Northern Comfort Lodge and Lynx cabin include hiking, canoeing and cycling in summer, and snowshoeing, cross country skiing, dog sledding and ice fishing in winter. Your host is an expert bushcraft guide and guiding can be arranged.
The cabin is now available for booking in both summer and winter, price just £353/cabin/week in low season or £581/cabin/week in high season.
